Where to party in London, an impossible-to-answer question with too many possibilities. Advice we like to give is to start by deciding on what type of music you’re in the mood for. If you feel like shaking your hips, hip-hop and R&B are the way to go; if you’re more in the mood to groove to some moving beats, house music it is. If you want a little bit of both, the old classic starting with hip-hop and ending with house music, you’ll find that too. So, without further ado, here are our three recommendations for where to party in London

Hip-Hop: Tape London

Go-go dancers, live hip-hop artists, twerking all around, and big bottle shows. It’s an authentic hip-hop nightclub experience, just like in the movies when you see ballers throwing dollar bills all over the place. You can expect to be thoroughly entertained at Tape London.

Dancers put on a show on the centre runway, followed by dancing in podiums throughout the nightclub. A well-known MC hypes up the mood throughout the night, and a DJ better than you’ve ever experienced before. Tape London brings some of the best hip-hop DJs in London, guaranteeing a lit night every night.

The party begins to wind down around 3:30 am, but fear not because the afterparty starts kicking off in Little Tape, and you guessed it, more hip-hop and R&B. While Tape London is medium-sized, with a capacity of around 400 people, Little Tape is much more intimate, with only a lucky 100 people being able to continue the party into the early hours here.

House: Beat London

The infamous Beat London has been open since 1966 – back then it was known as The Speak. Since then, it has gone through an array of phases but has never failed to be one of the most sought-out spots in London.

Now, it is known as one of the hottest spots for house music, especially deep house, and it’s the after-party club to be at if you’re one of London’s party elites. Most of the people at Beat are somebody, whether well-connected, affluent, famous, or cool to be around.

Hip-Hop & House: Maddox Club

Tasting menus exist for a reason, as does Maddox Club. You’ll find a loungey bar on the upper floor and a booming hip-hop club in the first room on the lower ground, with a smoking courtyard between the hip-hop club and the Green Room, which is Maddox Club’s house music room.

The main room stays popping until 4 am, and the party continues with house music beats in the Green Room until 6 am. Maddox Club doesn’t have dancers, podiums, or shows. It’s much more low-key and is more about the people inside.

It’s a great place to mingle, with different rooms and bars providing opportunities to get to know other people, which isn’t always easy to do in a club.

For those who can’t decide where to party in London, Maddox Club offers something to please many different tastes.
