The Tape London dress code is very important to know if you want your night out at Tape London to go smoothly. Once we confirm your Tape London booking, we’ll make sure you know everything, but if you still want to know what to expect, this is everything related to the Tape Club dress code.
Tape London Dress Code
The Tape London dress code is smart and elegant for all guests, whether it’s a group of ladies or gents and whether you’re on the guestlist or have a table booking.
That said, there’s a bit more dress code leniency that comes with having a table booking. Of course, this still doesn’t mean the door will allow sweatpants or shorts. We’ll cover the acceptable as part of the dress code for all booking types throughout the next paragraphs.
To start, this is a list of clothing items that are not allowed for anyone according to the Tape London dress code:
- Beachwear
- Athletic wear
- Hats
- Denim short-shorts
- Fancy dress
- Hen-do/birthday party accessories: tiaras, etc.
- Flip-flops
- Sandals
- Flats (ladies on the guestlist)
- Overly revealing outfits
- Visible underwear
Tape London Dress Code for Girls
The Tape London dress code for girls is smart and elegant. This means two things:
- Heels are mandatory — evening boots with heels are also allowed.
- The rest of the outfit is up to you as long as it looks smart and elegant.
If you want the easiest and most hassle-free option, you can wear a dress and pair it with a set of heels and you’ll be good to go.
Other clothing items that work are elegant jumpsuits, dark and elegant denim pants, smart trousers, elegant tops, crop tops, and the list goes on.
Tape London Dress Code for Guys
The Tape London dress code for guys is smart and elegant. This means, a dress shirt, smart trousers, and smart shoes.
You can also wear dark denim pants as long as they’re not distressed, torn, etc. or elegant trainers if they’re clean and on-trend. Whatever clothing you choose needs to work well together though, in order for the whole outfit to look smart.
Needless to say, it’s important to avoid wearing overly casual clothing, like distressed jeans, old trainers, beachwear, sportswear, and fancy dress.
Tape London Dress Code for Tables
The Tape London dress code for table clients and their guests is just a little more flexible than for people on the Tape guestlist.
For guys with a Tape London table booking, as we’ve mentioned above, it could be acceptable to wear on-trend trainers or dark denim pants.
For girls with a table booking, heels aren’t mandatory. Instead, you can wear elegant flats or on-trend trainers.
In all cases, your outfit still needs to look smart and elegant as the door reserves the right to deny entry to anyone not following the dress code.
That’s everything you need to know about the Tape London dress code. If you have any questions about a specific outfit you’re planning on wearing or if you’d like to make a Tape London booking, let us know and we’ll arrange it for you at no cost.
